What does the CO2 Laser do?
- A CO2 laser vaporizes skin cells through short bursts of radiation.
- One layer of skin is treated while not treating the deep skin
tissue which is preserved.
- The laser treats tiny wrinkles.
- The laser improves sun damaged skin.
- The laser improves acne scars.
What does the Hair Removal Laser do?
- The laser beam targets the pigment in the hair follicle.
- The laser beam attempts to destroy the follicle by the follicle
absorbing the laser energy.
- Re-growth is hampered by destruction of follicles.
- The laser only affects follicles that are growing at the time
of the treatment.
- As additional hairs enter the growth phase, additional treatments
are necessary.
- Two to five treatments may be necessary.
