What is a laser?

What does the CO2 Laser do?

  1. A CO2 laser vaporizes skin cells through short bursts of radiation.
  2. One layer of skin is treated while not treating the deep skin tissue which is preserved.
  3. The laser treats tiny wrinkles.
  4. The laser improves sun damaged skin.
  5. The laser improves acne scars.

What does the Hair Removal Laser do?

  1. The laser beam targets the pigment in the hair follicle.
  2. The laser beam attempts to destroy the follicle by the follicle absorbing the laser energy.
  3. Re-growth is hampered by destruction of follicles.
  4. The laser only affects follicles that are growing at the time of the treatment.
  5. As additional hairs enter the growth phase, additional treatments are necessary.
  6. Two to five treatments may be necessary.
